Curiouser and Curiouser. This year marks the 150th Anniversary of the first telling of ‘Alice in Wonderland’. This fantastical story has inspired many a fashionista from designers to editors all over the world. What can I say, dreams of chasing the white rabbit will always inspire and intrigue us. *Scarlett
Outfit inspiration: The adventure of heading into the unknown (AKA discovering the first pieces from the new Kurt Geiger collections). This week I’m wearing my ‘Channi’ chain bracelet with these new KG Kurt Geiger ‘Hyacinth’ platform wedges. I love the laser cut detail revealing rose gold roses- these beauties are sure to take me on the most curious adventures!
After a non typical trip to the zoo, I found myself being entranced by a pallid snake. I find that animal print is both beautiful and fierce, its understandable why this trend keeps popping up season after season. *Scarlett
Outfit Inspiration: This week, I’m carrying KG Kurt Geiger ‘Humbug’ clutch. Laser cut nubuck giving the effect of snakeskin, it gives texture to any outfit. Pale and most definitely interesting!
Skills of savvy shopping whilst the sales are in full swing is an art form that has taken me years to master. My best tip is to go early in the morning. Shoes and accessories in bargain abundance will be perfectly laid out allowing capture of that perfect pair… But of course when in doubt – Shop online! *Scarlett
‘Tis the season to be hot… Well it should be. I have productively starting planning my holiday wardbrobe and am excited at the prospect of long summer days lazing on my sun lounger. *Scarlett
Outfit Inspiration: I came across CocoVito’s coconut water flavoured with passion fruit on one of my expeditions. It almost tasted of summer… Start (if you haven’t already) investing in holiday staples like brightly coloured bikinis. These will go hand in hand with a pair of fabulous shades.
I’ve just been to see the new ball gowns at the British Glamour exhibition at the V&A in London. On until the 6th January 2013, there is still plenty of time to visit! My favourite gowns were the arguably less traditional and somehow less formal. Maybe I was biased by the considered approach to ‘Everything but the Dress’?! But this Giles gown accessorised with a giant glove and this show-off shoe revealing Alexander McQueen creation were for me the epitome of British Glamour (always with just the right amount of edginess!) *Scarlett
Mischief making shoes. I can’t explain what it is, but these shoes bring out the rebel in me… *Scarlett
Outfit Inspiration: With bunting still decorating Britain’s streets, I am calling this week’s look, Regal Rebellion! Any woman worth her metal is tough, fierce and fabulous in black patent leather and chunky jewellery (all by Kurt Geiger)
