I’ve just been to see the new ball gowns at the British Glamour exhibition at the V&A in London. On until the 6th January 2013, there is still plenty of time to visit! My favourite gowns were the arguably less traditional and somehow less formal. Maybe I was biased by the considered approach to ‘Everything but the Dress’?! But this Giles gown accessorised with a giant glove and this show-off shoe revealing Alexander McQueen creation were for me the epitome of British Glamour (always with just the right amount of edginess!) *Scarlett
