As much as I love wearing white, keeping it white is a task in itself. Whether in jean, shirt or KG Humbug tote form I have decided that you just have to embrace the fact that they can’t stay bright white forever. Avoiding dirt is hard. It’s like the laws of gravity work harder against you when wearing white! So my advice, don’t fight it- relish white and all of its bright imperfections. *Scarlett
Us bloggers (aspiring photographers) have a lot to thank Bill Cunningham for. Out now to celebrate his work- a new film ‘Bill Cunningham New York’ has just been released. Showing his impressive influence on the world of fashion through his photography. Sometimes it’s more powerful said in Black and White. *Scarlett
Frou Frouu brings colour into the wash. If you haven’t seen Nadia’s blog already then stop everything and rectify this now. Posted yesterday, check out her Kurt Geiger London wedges with scarlet socks bringing a little colour into the white wash. http://www.froufrouu.com/ *Scarlett
Continuing my black with white obsession this week may I present a proud recent discovery, black Pop-socks. That’s right; don’t be fooled by their somewhat ordinary exterior. These silky socks will give your white shoes more pop!
Wear an everything but the dress white leather white wash with this KG*Kurt Geiger ‘Humbug’ tote. Like black, your shades of white will never match so don’t try and make them…
Just play. *Scarlett
GraziaUK is celebrating Spring’s new looks with 25% off at Kurt Geiger. Grazia in arm I wrapped myself up in KG* Kurt Geiger Perspex belts that I’ve been waiting to add to my neon Perspex collection! Couldn’t resist this ‘Savannah’ purse-meets-clutch too! Already thinking of my first outfit with them together. Stay tuned…*Scarlett
Of all the Paris Fashion Week highlights so far, I had to share this look with you- Exit 33 of Stefano Pilati’s last show as Creative Director for Yves Saint Laurent. The symbol of lust to the Romans, a calla lily provided inspiration for prints (like this suit) and stunning sculptural jewellery. Continuing my white obsession… I love this darker dominatrix YSL shade of white *Scarlett
Note to Scarlett: Need to try metallic accessories with an all white look!
Jewels. Into the early hours of this morning, I spent live streaming the The Oscars, hence my late post today! Sparkling her way down last nights red carpet, Miss Piggy arrived with her arm candy Kermit the frog (wearing a metallic Zac Posen gown and vintage jewels) So today I am everything sparkle, my KG* Kurt Geiger diamante tiara is out again with the KG Jade diamante grosgrain earrings and bracelet. All be it paired with my silk pyjamas… *Scarlett
Perfect for storing all Fashion Week essentials, I spotted people sporting KG Perspex all through London Fashion Week. Check out Rollacoaster magazine’s sports day shoot for their LFW edition. What can I say… want to be quirky gymnast in Diesel Black Gold neoprene, Celine slides and KG*Kurt Geiger pouch (I have pink but I need this yellow in life to pick up the flecks in my soon to be new Pringle of Scotland skirt). Ready, set, GO! *Scarlett
Sometimes it takes a second glance to recognise what makes a good match. Maybe being the month of romance is causing me to reflect?? I personally like a pairing with a little more personality so for every pastel you need a neon- Catherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy, Liz Taylor and Richard Burton.
KG is launching their Spring preview exclusively online from today and first on my list of accessories is these neon chandelier earrings worn with these Citizens of Humanity jeans from Donna Ida. A hint of yellow gives these pretty flowers just the right amount of edge. Aaron Eckhart (circa Erin Brokovich) and Scarlett (in these jeans). Perfect match. *Scarlett
Carly Cushnie inspired me to dig out my scarlet pair of ‘Hermine’. Tis the season to be red! Although you know me by now, I don’t need an excuse to wear it all year round. *Scarlett
