Shimmering fabrics and glowing accessories are going to be big this summer. With metallics all around, there’s no need to save flashy fashion statements until after dark so this week I’m brightening up the day by adding Kurt Geiger London croco gold slides. I’m ready to sizzle, shimmer and shine. *Scarlett
As a salute to the New Orleans Jazz Fest style that Karen Blanchard shared during her road trip, I’m planning my summer festival look. In the same way an over sized wellington boot makes legs look super cute in summer shorts, these chunky gladiator sandals in neutral leather will be similarly flattering for when my feet brave to go nude! I swear this sole was designed with the inevitable rain and British festival mud in mind… Thank you! *Scarlett

NYC got Punk’d last night in honour of The MET Ball and the upcoming exhibition Punk: Chaos to Couture. There is a fine line when coupling punk with red carpet couture and not everyone got it right. Personally I liked the bleached look on Anne Hathaway. Bleached denim and dressed as a punk this week!

The summer calendar is coming in fast and hard to challenge the summer shoe wardrobe. I plan to squeeze almost all summer soirees into this weekend which just leaves one question- Which shoes can I wear to drink cocktails, eat strawberries, take picnics, play tennis, watch cricket, make ice cream and sand castles?! When wedged between a number of activities in one weekend, the wedge is absolutely the answer. *Scarlett
Take one asymmetric onesie and it’s surprising the new combinations of accessories one simple piece inspires (David Bowie’s to be precise). I’ve been enjoying the asymmetric earring look this week, whether that’s mixing different pairs or simply wearing onesie! *Scarlett

Whilst I was in New York I went to see The Impressionism, Fashion, and Modernity exhibition at The Met. Showing women in modern life fully fashioned and accessorised with pretty and familiar things, I was hooked. The only thing that drew my attention (and a few others in the exhibition) was the museum’s guard when she screamed ‘WoOw! Where did you get those beautiful shoes?!’ Smiling whilst sharing my new shoe secret- Kurt Geiger Bleecker as the source of my Samantha stilettos by Kurt Geiger London, I left with an awesome feeling. I love New York, only there at The Met could I chat about shoes whilst surrounded by Monet.
This week I am wearing my seasonal sale spend. In the sale you have to get straight to it! See it, want it, buy it. It just so happens that this week’s want is in brown leather, so my bargain bears longevity beyond this season. Look out for the return of brown coming from the Autumn Winter 13 runways… *Scarlett
Everything but the Oscar dress. OK, I sadly wasn’t able to attend this year but if I had then I would have been wearing Reese Witherspoon’s dress with ‘Faster Faster’ and this little box clutch by Kurt Geiger London.
The award for ’Best Dressed’ goes to Zachary at Kurt Geiger Bleecker after sending me these, my Go Faster Wish and showing me how to run in them when I was in New York! Don’t forget to vote for your favourite new season style on Facebook *Scarlett
Whilst in NYC, I met up with blogger Beca Alexander from Fashion Indie at the Kurt Geiger Bleecker boutique. We had a lengthy conversation about ‘Charlotte’ , these irridescent points by Kurt Geiger London for their perfect combination of dainty and edgy. Beca will be taking over Vanity Fair tweets for the Oscars this Sunday and we think ‘Charlotte‘ is nothing but perfect for the awards season … And as you can see, Fashion Indie is hungry to wear hers! LOVE! *Scarlett
