‘A bigger splash’ sums up the temptation that takes over for a dive here or there to catch the street style snappers during fashion weeks. Lots of dark colours and cashmere still around and I confess that I am still fighting back the cold with my grandmother’s wool coat as no 1 wardrobe staple for NY.  Though it’s my accessories that are lightening the mood with neon Perspex and other poolside prettys that are more suited to David Hockney’s paradise. 

Friday kicks off London Fashion Week and I’m looking forward to London’s eccentric ways where a miss match equals perfect match! I’ll be testing lace socks with cork wedges as I just can’t wait for the sun to shine before I wear them. See you by the pool London…*Scarlett

Scarlet carpet fever is among us so I had to share this shoot looking back at Vanity Fair’s Hollywood issues. There’s no overlooking the power of a great gown or even a great dinner suit- arguably equally as much pressure for the men to shine out from the sea of monochrome! This year however whether it be the Grammy’s, the BAFTA’s there has been an overwhelming support for simple palettes from the ladies too. Check out my favourite black and white looks. *Scarlett

Not so mellow yellow. Right now I am enjoying flashes of yellow for a little zing to my pastels and more muted shades. Also brilliant with metallics like this glittery sole and Chanel nail colour in Peridot. T shirt- batman, currently top of the novelty t-shirt draw.  That is until Andrew Garfield makes Spiderman Amazing too! (‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ is out this July)

I feel like I am in Lana’s world right now. I think I have a freaky connection with Lana Del Rey, maybe it’s because I have been listening to so many of her songs recently! It felt fitting to re-enter the dark depths of my winter wardrobe to find my black hooded coat and Scarlet velvet Kurt Geiger boots for the premiere of Daniel Radcliffe’s new film ‘the woman in black’. The invitation specified Gothic dress code. I did that with Everything but… The Dress was my white dinosaur Balenciaga. Hammer Horror is back for sure! Daniel Radcliffe superb.
